The Paskke String Quartet was founded in 2012 when leading members of the York Symphony Orchestra came together
looking for more refined chamber music outlet.
Praised for their vibrant and dynamic playing, the Paskke String Quartet is passionate about performing and
sharing great classical music. In offering musical diversity and variety to audiences, the quartet has colaborated
with choirs such as The Healey Willan Singers, Coro San Marco and The Milton Choristers, and outstanding guest artists such as Paul Weston,
Marco Verza and Elissa Miller-Kay. The quartet’s repertoire consists of a wide variety of compositions including and not limited to those of
the great masters from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and 20th century eras. The Paskke Quartet is also honoured to
have premiered pieces by contemporary composers.
The Paskke Quartet is based in York Region and has scheduled season concerts as well as private function performances
throughout the GTA and its vicinity. Members of the quartet are also experienced educators for the next generation of
string players.
